Encounter. Engage. Encourage. Empower.

Foundations is Cornerstone's Children's Program for those birth through pre-school.

By the time your child is five years old, we want them to know three basic truths.

1.      God Made Me

Psalm 139:13-14

"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well."

2.      God Loves Me

Romans 8:38-39

"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

3.      Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

John 3:16

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

Foundations utilizes First Look which gives children a first impression of their Heavenly Father and the wonder of His love for each one of them. Your children will engage in fun and welcoming activities the moment they arrive in their classrooms! These activities will prepare them for the Bible Story and awesome worship they will experience in a large group setting!

After large group the children will return to their classrooms to participate in a variety of activities that will help them apply what they have learned through crafts, games, or even yummy snacks. Each activity reinforces the month's Bottom Line in a fun and interactive way. The Bottom Line is repeated to be sure each child knows the truth of God's love. For the older children ages three through five years relationships begin to grow as the children are encouraged to share their thoughts about the Bottom Line and talk to God in their own words.

First Look also provides awesome literature for parents and children to interact over what was learned during church. We consider it an honor and a privilege to minister God's love to each and every child.
